Hi all. I am very interested in the history of Formby and have lived here all my life. I once saw pictures and plans of a tram line going down near the army barracks across the sand dunes. I can't remember where I saw them and extensive research both online and offline has come up with nothing. Does anybody know anything at all about this? Help will be greatly appreciated.

I actually think your referring to something that was sent into a previous incarnation of My-Formby. I remember these images being uploaded to our site with a small description about a tram line. I will have a look through our backups and get back to you.
