Free Family Fun Day

Printer-friendly versionFormby is host to a 'Family Fun Day' this weekend with Viking themed
events running throughout the day in Formby village and Duke Street
park.
At 11am, a 15ft Viking Longboat will make its way through Formby Village and makes its way to the park which will offer free rides and activities for children in the afternoon. Fancy dress competitions, performances and demonstrations are to ensure a successful day (weather permitting!)
Some other things to look forward to are mini-tours of the Viking Longboat, bowls lessons from Formby Bowling Club and a creepy-crawly display who will introduce kids to a variety of tropical and unusual critters!
Being totally free, there's no excuse not to take your whole family down!
